Investing in our future

In our Kids Ministry, our mission is to help kids create a relationship with God, connect with others, and contribute to changing the world. We believe that kids have the capacity to walk intimately with God, and we love to see them learn about Him and connect with Him through teaching,, prayer, bible stories, songs, and crafts.

Who's Involved?

At Westside we strive to provide a safe environment for kids from birth through sixth grade where they can learn about Jesus and connect with each other.

Our volunteers are the heartbeat of our ministry, and it’s an honor to serve with each and every one of them as they love on kids each week! Every volunteer who leads in the Kids Ministry has had a background check and is committed to making the ministry a safe, Biblically relevant, and fun environment for your kids.

"Children are a heritage from the LORD, offspring a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their opponents in court."

Psalms 127:3-5

How should I prepare my kids?

Each time you arrive at Westside  you will need to check your child into our Kids Ministry. Parents will be asked to Check-In at our Check-in station where a volunteer will print out a name tag and a claim tag that will be printed for parents to present at Check-Out. These name tags will include your child’s name as well as information regarding specific allergies. From there you will walk them to their age-specific classroom or the Children's Worship room. When you return at the end of service you will Check-Out your child by signing them out and then handing the claim tag to the teacher.

Thank you so much for helping us as we strive to make our Kids Ministry a safe environment for your kids to learn about God.
