Missions

Faith Promise

Faith Promise is one of the most meaningful methods for supporting missions. It is not a pledge. A Faith Promise is exactly what it says -- a promise made in faith between an individual and God. That promise based on what the giver believes God wants him or her to give to ministries beyond those of the local church.

Specifically this promise is a promise to give a certain amount to world missions through regular weekly, monthly, or annual giving. It is viewed as a faith offering that is given in addition to tithe.

For decades, hundreds of thousands of Christians have been involved in Faith Promise. Exciting stories abound of persons who have seen God provide their funds for Faith Promise in unexpected and seemingly amazing ways. Visit Nazarene.org/media to see astonishing ways that God is using Faith Promise giving to WEF (World Evangelism Fund) to impact missions around the world.

Mission Trips

During the summer our student ministry takes a mission trip to somewhere in the United States to serve a local community and often a local church. Teens qualify to attend a mission trip by serving throughout the year in our local community. Our adults in the church will usually travel outside the United States for their Work & Witness trips, most scheduled bi-annually. These provide a great opportunity to show the love of Christ through work on a project, vacation bible school, worship and fellowship to many areas around the world.

Sunday School Ministries

At the very heart of congregational life in the church, Sunday School plays a vital role in fulfilling the mission of the Church of the Nazarene to make Christlike disciples in the nations. Our Sunday School classes for children, youth, and adults help in preparation for a lifetime of Christian holiness.

  • Adult Sunday Morning Classes are offered in both the 9:30 am & 11:00 am Sessions.
  • Children and Teen Morning Classes are offered in the 11:00 am Session.

“Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.”
