9:30–10:40 am — Morning worship services. We offer two identical services that are composed of singing contemporary worship music, fellowship and a message. The teens typically attend the 9:30 am service and then transition to age level Sunday school classes.

10:50–12 pm — Sunday chool classes. There are three Sunday school classes for teens at Westside. Boys in the 7th & 8th grade meet in one class while girls in the 7th & 8th grade meet in another. Senior high students (grades 9–12) have the option of choosing from three different classes, each focusing on a scope and sequence. The Senior high classes change every three months.

6–7:00 pm — Evening praise service. This service is viewed as our family service and includes all ages (kids through senior adults).  Our evening service consists of singing worship music and a message.

6:45–8:15 pm — Midweek gathering. The midweek gathering for students is probably the one event that best defines our student ministry. Teens participate in worship, interact with and receive messages from special speakers and the youth pastor, and have lots of fun! Each week of the month is a little bit different, but the schedule generally goes something like this:

1st Wednesday — A special speaker brings a message to the teens along with accoustical worship. Students meet in the "Chapel" room #200.

2nd Wednesday — This evening functions as a theme night for the youth group. Any variety of group games, community activities or worship happens along with a devotional. Students meet in the "Chapel" room #200.

3rd Wednesday — Our youth pastor, Tom Craig, speaks on this Wednesday and always has a creative way to engage the students. Students will have intergenerational worship and testimony time with the adults and then meet in the "Chapel" for a message.

4th Wednesday — This schedule is the same as the 3rd Wednesday.

5th Wednesday — This Wednesday is always a little different. Happening only 4 times a year, students sometimes will have an "alternative worship experience" developed to engage them in creative ways, at other times students will have the opportunity to serve, do special outreach to the community, listen to a devotional or hear a message from our youth pastor, Tom Craig.

The Rest of the Week

Students have opportunities to engage in small groups that focus on accountability, work on various student leadership committees that help direct the student ministry or participate in student fundraising and servanthood events.
